The Count of Saint-Germain was a mysterious person who alchemist the secret of transmutation would have revealed.

The identity of Saint-Germain is shrouded in mystery. He reportedly studied at the University of Siena in Italy, where he was a protégé of Grand Duke Gian Gastone de 'Medici.

Napoleon III kept a dossier on him, but this was during the great fire in the Hotel de Ville of Paris in 1871 destroyed. Then pops the count in 1926 in Rome. Theosophist Guy Ballard claimed that he met the Earl of Mount Shasta and he brought him into contact with visitors from Venus.

On January 28, 1972 declared lover of singer Dalida, Richard Chanfray, on French television that he was the Count of Saint-Germain. He also claimed that Louis XV was still alive.
Many occult groups honor Saint Germain as an Ascended Master. He is believed to have many magical powers such as the art of teleporting, the levitating, it can walk through walls and telepathically influencing people.
In New Age circles, the count associated with the color violet and amethyst. He is also seen as the Cosmic Master of the Seventh violet ray. Given the upcoming astrological age, the Age of Aquarius, will be governed by the Seventh-violet ray is Saint-Germain sometimes called The Cosmic Master of the Aquarian era.
Rosicrucian Max Heindel described the Count of Saint-Germain as one of the later incarnations of Christian Rosenkreuz, the founder of the Order of Rosicrucians.
In the book The Seven Words of Samael Aun Weor, Saint-Germain seen as the master of the world politics. Weor considers Saint-Germain as one who by applying the alchemy conquered death. In his book Esoteric Course of Kabbalah Weor says that Saint-Germain speaks all languages and alchemy diamonds can make. The Count would also work with the secret of alchemy, sexual transmutation, made possible by white sexual magic.
